Probated or not?

Is there any site to go to in order to find out if a will has been probated?

Some counties have access to court records through their own website, but I do not know of any publicly available web site to access court records. Lexis has some information available, but not always everything. Some counties do not make court records available on the internet.

The will, if probated, would be probated in the county where the decedent lived. Some counties have court information available on the internet, others may require a letter or phone call to the county clerk.
