Property Inheiritance
Do we inheirit any value from our deceased mother's share of community property; and what would that property include? We were told that the house was lost in bankruptcy, but learned that relatives of the new wife are paying her rent to live in it. Dad says since Mother was never gainfully employed, all payments came from his income, therefore she had nothing to leave to anyone.

Yes. No matter who worked, or did not, each shares equally in the property obtained during the marriage. Get a lwayer and I wil lbet there will be some property to distribute.
