Property before the marriage

My father in law remararried 4 years ago he has a year to live the house he lives in was purchased before the got married what rights do the kids have if he leaves her the house, alose they have a familey bussiness that is inc. He is the presedent does she have any right to it. She also wants the insurance policys that the company bought for him it made out to the company to pay off any debt.

It all depends on whether or not he has a valid will.
