Property tax on 1/4 interest in Homestead

My father died and my brother and I each inherited 1/4 interest in the 2/7 acres including the Homestead which my father's wife lives in. My brother and I each received a property tax bill for our 1/4 ownership. Should we be paying the property taxes on this?

Probably, If the bill is coming to you no one else is going to be paying it and eventually the taxing authorities get tired of not being paid and foreclose. You give no indication of the status of the probate of your dad's estate. You should talk with a good probate attorney.
