Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

I receive settlement payments from my father's death from asbestos,along with 3 siblings and my stepmother. She passed away last year. What happens to her portion of the settlement payments? We are not blood related. And none of her children are blood related to my father.

There are too many variables to give a direct answer. However, if money was awarded to her (and /or her heirs) by court order or agreement then her share is distributed according to her will and by the rules of intestate disbursement of her state of residence if she had no will. Unless there are other rules or orders from the settlement or court ruling.
