Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

I just recived a lawsuit from citimortgage tonight. I'm 100% disabled veteran and on social security for 5 years. This was a second mortgage for $62.000.00. I live in Texas and was told that I have nothing to worry about from attorneys in the past. I live in rental homestead house now. I have only my income and the first loan was bought back by the bank. I tried to avoid foreclosure and made letters of agrremeent to pay for three months and they would help me get a new loan. That was a big lie.

I need to notify the court within 20 days. Do I need a lawer?
