Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas
Am I responsible for a personal loan made between myself and a family friend who has recently passed away? The loan was taken out against the friends CD. I have been making payments on time every month directly to the bank. The children of the friend are wanting to liquidate the estate and have demanded I pay the loan in full immediately. I do not have funds to pay this in full. Is there anything the family can do legally to me in regards to this loan?
