Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Do not resuscitate directive

My mother has a will in which she included a DNR directive. She is in end stage dementia and at home. Her caretaker, my brother, is a johnny come lately who wants the house . He has no other means of support except what mother gets from pension and ss. My mother left the house to all her living children. He wants to disregard the DNR directive in the will, as do some of my siblings. My question is can we legally go against her expressed wishes and not honor her DNR directive. I have the POA and am the Executor.

Re: Do not resuscitate directive

Give a copy of the directive to the nursing home and hospital. The decision is theirs.
