If property is sold that belonged to a widow with 6 children and one child is deceased, how is the deceased share of property distributed to heirs?

That depends on a number of things like: was there a Will; who died first; did the child who died have children?

If you are selling things from the estate, who is the attorney handling the probate/heirship proceedings? That is who you need to be asking.

If you are trying to do this without an attorney, you really need to stop and talk to a good probate attorney before you go any further.
