seperate property

my parents were divorced.my mother got the house as her seperate property. later they remarried.my mother died.is the house now my fathers to do as he wishes?what about the kids?

In my opinion, the kids have been raised and should be on their own..Texas changed the law in 1995 or so that if spouse survives and no children by a different spouse..the spouse gets everything..

Was there a will? Are all children dad's biological children? Maybe you should contact an attorney.
