Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Setting up a land trust

I have 2 pieces of property in my name and would like to transfer them to a land trust for asset protection purposes. In Texas, what form do I use? - a general warranty deed, or is there a specific form for this?

Is there a form I can download off the internet?

Thanks a ton!

First you have to establish a trust. Then you transfer the property into the trust. While it's possible to prepare the trust documents yourself, that's a bit like do-it-yourself surgery; the only difference is the pain and the blood is deferred.
