settle small estate

My mother in law died and left a will. Only owned personal property small bank acc't and $10k life policy. Their are 4 daughters(heirs) can estate be settled w/ heirship affidavit and avoid probate?

You might be able to do a Small Estate Affidavit, if there are no debts.

Check with the bank re: what they would like to see. Sometimes they'll have a specific form, otherwise an heirship affidavit should work.

On the life insurance, most companies are satisfied with a death certificate and a beneficiary claim form, again check with the company as to what they need.
