Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

can a sibling try to fight the will

MY dad has a will made out since 1996 and it states everything be leftto me and my brother, now my brother has passed. My dad has another daughter from a prev. marriage and the will states there are No provisions for her, so is it true she can argue the will after my dad passes and get it changed?

Re: can a sibling try to fight the will

Given the circumstances, the best thing would be for your dad to make a new Will. Simple Wills are not expensive. The new Will could state the he specifically leaves nothing to your half-sister if that is his intent.

Feel free to call the office if I can be of assistance.
