Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas
Simple will
I currently work in Texas and pay taxes here. I own a home and business in Georgia and will return there upon retirement in two more years. Which state do I use when preparing a will?

Re: Simple will
Wills are not expensive. I'd prepare one here under Texas law right now. After the move to GA, I'd prepare a new one under GA law.
Re: Simple will
Your residence, and property, is in Georgia, so Georgia law has to be kept in mind. I would recommend having a will prepared in Texas, though, then consider having a new one made when you return to Georgia.

Re: Simple will
Write a will for Texas while you are a resident here, and then a new one when you move out of state.
