Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas
If my sister and I are sent papers about an old estate in Texas and we want to know more about what is in the estate and why it was never distributed to the proper heirs, do they have to tell us if we get an attorney?

If an estate has been opened, you can get information from the court's own file. It's a public record.
What you're talking about sounds almost like somebody is setting you up for a scam. Be careful if someone asks you for money.
