Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas
my son has adopted 2 children. We have not met the children and , not because of our preference, but because the woman he married does not want him around any of his biological family, just hers. The question is, when we make a will can we give his half of our small estate to his biological grandchildren and not leave anything to the adopted children? Or do we need to leave a token something to him and the adopted children. It may be a moot point, they could divorce, but we want our grandchildren protected if they do live together.
