Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas
Can my son have joint tenancy
How can I establish Joint Tenency with Right to Suvivorship for my 18 year old son? I divorced 15 years ago. I purchased my home 10 years ago.

Re: Can my son have joint tenancy
There are a number of ways. You could re-draft your warranty deed to make it a joint tenancy, or you could deed the property to him, reserving a life estate. Or you can simply devise it to him in a will. What is it, exactly, that you want to accomplish? Remember, if you survive your son, you still have the property.
