Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas
I spoke with my grandmother today. Before my grandfather passed away - they had papers drawn up for a living trust. A short time before my grandfather he was having a physical therapist come into the home. During this time my grandmother has said this therapist said many inappropriate things ect. The therapist took my grandfather into the bedroom and closed the door. This perplexed my grandmother and she went to open the door. When the therapist left, my grandfather told my grandmother that she had no idea how to love someone. A few days later, my grandfather called a lawyer to their home and from my grandmothers understanding, he wrote a will possible leaving things to the therapist. My grandfather passed a few months ago and my grandmother disclosed this to me today. I asked her if this additional will was read and she said no, that it could not be read until after she passed away because of the living trust. She is concerned about what was in the new will (the lawyer who wrote the new will, will not talk to her). Is it true that an additional will would not be read until after she has passed away due to the living trust? Thank you for your help!

Hire a lawyer now..file for probate for your grandfather's estate....if there are any assets...but if few assets....Report the therapist to the medical association or proper agency...it sounds like elderly abuse...Call the Texas Bar Association about the lawyer...
