Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

In the state of texas can a parent legally give through inheritance, trust, or gift any of their assets un-proportionately to their children. Or witheld any assets to a child while giving to other children?

There is no law in Texas that requires one to treat his children equally when making a will or designating beneficiaries for life insurance.

When one makes a will, he is giving away property - he's not making a contract - and there are very few restrictions. One restriction is that he can't give away property that isn't his.
