Stepmother won't give copy of father's will

My father died in December 2008. My stepmother has not provided me a copy of his will and is apparently being uncooperative about it. What are my rights regarding this and what do I do to get a copy from her?

Did he have a will? If so, you can view it, once it has been filed, at the local probate office. If he didn't have a will, you can contact an attorney to assist you in opening up an heirship proceeding to protect your interest in his estate. Sorry about the loss of your father.

if your father had assets, you would be entitled to some but you can file for probate and force her to provide the will..or hire a lawyer and get it moving...call us if you wish...
