Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

I am being sued for deliquent taxes. My home is an estate I inherited from my mother in 1998. I own half of the home and my daughter which is a minor owns the other half. I would like to know if the

County can legally take away my home?

Yes. If you want to stop foreclosure, you need to pay the delinquent taxes.

Yes, though it will take awhile for that to happen. You need to clear the title to your home first, then either get a loan or sell the house. Otherwise, you face losing your equity in the house.
