Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

second time

I had asked if I would have to change my will . I had given my son

our old house. We now have a different home and it is 50-50 so I

wont have to do anything with it

I have no bills and no money just

a few personal items to leave to my

kids

Re: second time

As far as I can tell, you still have an interest in the house that will have to be transferred to your son upon your death. In general, small estate Wills are inexpensive. Many attorneys will prepare simple Wills for very reasonable fees. Trying to settle an estate without a valid Will can get expensive fast. Better safe than sorry.

I agree with the previous post. You will still need to do something with your 50% interest in the house. Leaving it to him in a will is easier than leaving it up to chance.
