Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Trustee responsiblities

I am a trustee for my father's trust. He had dementia and lived with me for 3 years. I took care of his real estate (including sales after his death) and a lawsuit from former wife. I did this while working and raising 4 children so I admit that my records are not neat and orderly although I have receipts and files. Am I due any compensation by law for all the time, transactions, etc I have dealt with in the past? He died over a year ago and my deceased sisters' children are fighting for more money and I am at my wits end. They never helped me care for their mother or grandfather. Thank you.

Re: Trustee responsiblities

You could make application to the court for reasonable trustees fees plus the legal expenses to obtain them - at the expense of deceased sister's children. Maybe you want to get a lawyer to help you with this. Good Luck.
