my mother in law passed away without a will and my husband was the only child, her husband passed away too...what do we do to get the house in his name? and, his aunt is trying to set up a trust for him that has the house and business in it, how do we know we can trust this?

Open the estate in probate, and ask that your husband be named independent adminisrator. His aunt has no business or authority to meddle in the estate.
