Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas
unsigned copy ofwill
My step-father passed away recently,my mom died in 2006,they both had wills, hers was probated after she died. We as the stepchildren can not find the original signed will just a copy, stepdad has a biological son, what can we do?

Keep looking! In the meantime, hire an attorney and attempt to probate the copy. The court will decide based on evidence presented.

See if you can find the attorney who drafted the Will and see if he or she might have the original. I assume you have checked with the executor/trix to see if he/she has it. In the meantime hire a good probate attorney to help you.
