Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Vacate Order by Judge?

Is it possible to get an order of the probate judge approving the estate accounting vacated when the beneficiaries (who are represented by an attorney) have not approved the accounting? Our attorney told us there was not a deadline to approve and he has been negotiating with the estate attorney for a more detailed accounting and a distribution. Case is 2 years old.

Re: Vacate Order by Judge?

Since you are working with an attorney, you will need to discuss this question with him.

Orders may generally be vacated if certain procedures are followed, and if it is does within the appropriate timeframe. Your lawyer can advise you on this.

Good luck to you.
