Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Will the deceased's insurance cover repairs related to the sale of the house?

My grandmother died and named me as her personal representative (which is Colorado's version of the executor of the estate) in her will. I am trying to sell her house (which is located in Northglenn, Colorado) and the home inspector found some hail damage to the roof. The people buying the house want me to repair the roof or else drop the price of the house substantially. The roof is less than 3 years old and the damage isn't that bad, so I think that this may be a ploy to get a better deal on the house. My grandmother had homeowner's insurance. Will her insurance still cover the repairs to her roof even though she is dead?

yes, the insurance should cover it but may fight because the claim is old....call a local roofer to fight the battle..they work with insurers and normally get paid...
