Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

will and executor

My husband was the executor of his mother's will for years...since his father passed in 2001. We moved to TN and his sister told his mother in TX that he was no longer permitted to be an executor because we lived out of state. The mother is 83. Is there anything that can be done for fraud telling the mother something that is not true?

If lies could be prosecuted, I'd be in jail every Friday night when I tried to explain to my wife why I'm late. i don't think the prison could hold all the prosecutable liars.
