Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas
no will
My father died in March of 2007. I am an only child. I don't think he had a will because it was never mentioned. My mother has now remarried and the new husband has moved into her house. I have recieved nothing from my father's estate and now my mother has this new husband taking over everything. Do I have any rights to anything of my father? I live in Texas, I am an only child and my parents were married to each other 45 years.

Re: no will
in my opinion, all went to your mother and unless she wants to give you anything, you are not entitled to anything...if your father was not married to someone else before your mother..
