Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

my father past and left his home in his will to me, now I thing his step children are going to make problem for me can they do anything to chang my father will I am his blood and the my mother was married to their mother and my father never adopt her kids. what do I need to do if anything to protect myself.

I'm sorry to learn of your father's passing. Before I can discuss this, I need more information. Specifically, was this your father's homestead? Was he still married to the stepmother when he died? How long ago did he die? Have you probated the will yet?
