Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas
Will on file at attorney's office?
How can I determine which attorney drew up a will for a family member? Can I call the office and ask if they have it on file there?
A will is being probated dated 1988 but I am positive there is a more recent one somewhere.

Some attorneys keep client wills, though most do not. But they do keep archival copies. You can always ask a lawyer if they drew up a will for your family member, and explain why you are asking. They may tell you if there's a will later than 1988.
