Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

My grandmother left a will when she died stating that when her house is sold her children will split the monies. My mother is a part of that will and since she is deceased i'm the only survivng child. I just want to make sur the rest of them don't pull a fast one on me.

If your mother is deceased, then the will may or may not leave her share to you, depending on the wording of the will. I usually believe in answering questions, but this time, I strongly suggest that you consult with an attorney.

You need to make sure that the will did not name her successors per capita. You should take per stirpes. You may want to consult an attorney.
