Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Help with will

My great aunt is redoing her will after the death of spouse. She has no living children & only 1 grandchild, whom she doesn't want to leave money to, only some belongings. If I am executor & beneficiary, should I have the will probated upon her death? If so, how do I go about that?

Re: Help with will

You can take the will to a lawyer's office and probate it. If there are no estate debts, then the will can be probated as a muniment of title, which is a quicker, and less expensive procedure.
