Texas recognizes holographic wills. They must be entirely in the testator's handwriting, and signed by the testator. It has to be proved up by two disinterested witnesses who can testify to the testator's handwriting.

In Texas, a holographic will is valid. A holographic will is a document intended to be a will, solely in the handwriting of the person making the will, signed by the person making the will and dated.
