Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

no will

My husband of 21yrs died Jan of 2009. we have no children, there is not a will, but everything is in both our names. How do I go about changing everything to my name such as land, house, vehicles?

You will have to probate his estate without a will. Sounds like you need a lawyer. Good Luck.

I'm sorry to learn about your spouse. To answer your question, the type of procedure you'll have to do depends on the status of your husband's estate. Did he have debts? A house? What kind of assets did he have?
