Will predates divorce

My father made out a will in 1983 leaving everything to my stepmother (the will was not dated by anyone except the notary). They divorced in 1985 in Texas. They later remarried in 1996 in North Carolina. Is the 1'st will still valid since they divorced? We are convinced there is another will as they had been separated for five years and planned on divorcing.

You need to speak to a probate attorney in the state in which your father was living at the time of his death.
