Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

my father passed and his wife is the survivor-and me and my sister. What rights do i have in seeing the will or asking about a will and life insurance. What about the land he owned prior to them getting married. She will offer no information to us about this. Should we retain a lawer? We do not know how to approach seeing the will or life insurance policies-if there are any. They were married for only 3-4 years. Thank you

You and your sister need lawyers when a survivor refuses to be open..call one who handles probate in your County... we are in Dallas County
