Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Recently we found out that our Great great grandfather ownwd mineral rights to 57 acres. oil co. has approached for leasing. we had a couson that passed away in 2002 and left his real personel property to someone else. Now this woman says sh's entitled to his oil leases revenues..None of us knew about this land until the first part of 2007 and he had already passed away with no children.
