Legal Question in Workers Comp in Texas

Car Accident while on the clock

I made a bank run in my personal vehicle ( required by employer) and was in an accident. Is the employers workers comp insurance responsible for my vehicle damage as well as the medical treatment? Does it matter who is at fault in the accident?

Re: Car Accident while on the clock

Your employer's work comp insurance should pay medical expenses and weekly benefits but not for damage to vehicle.

If you are injured and will miss a month or more of work, call us...if not, call the local DWC office for information..or call us for basic info..
