Legal Question in Workers Comp in Texas

company doesn't carry Comp insurance - who pays medical bill

If I cut my hand at work and went to the doctor and needed stiches is it the company's responsibility to pay for the medical treatment. I was going to use my insurance but I have not met my deductible so I am looking at a bill for $500. Is it my responsibility or is the company required to pay my bill?

If the employer was negligent, it is the employer's responsibility...if it was your fault..you pay..but there are a lot of different ways to look at it...ask the employer to pay..
