Legal Question in Workers Comp in Texas

Can one continue to receive any type of income benefits for a workers compensation injury in Texas after two years? I received an impairment rating of 14% and I have already exhausted all of my income benefits according to the Texas state law. I still need another surgery and I haven't been able to go back to work since my injury. I also applied for social security and social security disability and I was denied both benefits in 2008. I was just wondering whether or not I would be entitled to additional income benefits from my previous employer since my injuries are still affecting my ability to return to work.
