Legal Question in Workers Comp in Texas

i cut myself with a box cutter at work that needed stitches and i was required to take a drug test which i failed i wasnt suspended of terminated until i found out that an employee of another store new about my incident and failing the test which is suppose to confidential i have text messages of this employee telling me who told him when i asked my boss he said he will get to the bottom of it in which i was suspended a weed later until there done with the investigation as to who told this employee my info it has been three week and i've been calling everyday for the status and they keep telling me to call back and im not getting paid for my time out. i know i did wrong but they also did wrong in letting my infor out. What should i do now

apply for unemployment compensation..but you have no legal rights against the employer in my opinion
