Legal Question in Workers Comp in Texas

i was fired while under a workers comp claim for leaving early from work one day because of my injured shoulder hurting. i was told that i was going to be being paid for my hours worked while on light duty, and that if i didnt work, i just wouldnt be paid. Is firing me for working around my shoulder pain one day legit?

without more info, hard to tell..because you have to prove employer did not have a different valid reason for firing you..ie, late regularly, not doing light duty assigned, etc..but you should be able to get work comp started again if you need medical care for your shoulder and the shoulder was hurt at work..calll us or a work comp lawyer to discuss the work comp case
