Legal Question in Workers Comp in Texas

my husband got 35 percent impairment raiting

My husband lost 2 fingers and part of his hand in an accident at work. Workmans comp. said that he is going to get a certain amt of money for his loss and I was wondering how they figure that amount ...they said that there is a formula they use to figure that amount...35 times 3 times x amount of dollars per week...Do you know how this is figured?? Or how long it takes for this process once there is an impairment rating....they are not disputing anything!

Re: my husband got 35 percent impairment raiting

cThe maximum is $674 a week..or 70% of average weekly wage..but IR is probably $376 a week..but he is entitled to medical care for life..which with such a severe accidentt

may affect his arm, shoulder or other parts of his body..call us if you want help..
