Legal Question in Workers Comp in Texas
injury on the job
about 6 mos. ago, i fell at work(car dealership) against a car door while trying to move some cars during a bad storm. i put a 2'' gash in my head. one of the other employees helped me. i was the manager, so i couldn't leave. i filled out the proper incident report at work, but no one ever followed up to check on me. since then i have short term memory loss, headaches, sleepless nights, anxiety and panic attacks occasionally. my job title has been changed and my employment long term is tenuous. i have seen a doctor with regards to sleep and anxiety and am under care. i have not related them back to the head injury with the doctor. i am also a cardiac patient. i have a long scar on left side of my forehead from the injury. do i have any recourse at this time?

Re: injury on the job
if your employer had Texas work comp insurance, yes..if you told your supervisor within 30 days. If employer did not have wc insurance, no liability for accidents which were not the fault of the employer....in my opinion. If you need help, call us
