Legal Question in Workers Comp in Texas
injury
my wife sprained her shoulder yesterday at work. The company sent her to a clinic where she was placed on light duty.Today however her boss called to let her know that they would not be able to accomodate these restrictions, and that if she was going to get paid they need her back on the job or otherwise they had nothing for her.

Re: injury
If the employer has work comp insurance, she needs to file with the Work Comp comissioon ASAP....if the employer does not have work comp, she must prove the employer's negligence caused her injury..
Go to the Texas Workers Compensation Commission on line to see if the employer has work comp insurance..or call us and we will help
