Legal Question in Workers Comp in Texas

is my job protected under workers compensation or am I in danger of getting fired while in recovery from a work related injury

Jobs are not protected by work comp....if the employer does not need you they do not have to keep you.. But if you are fired because you filed for work comp benefits..then you have a case..
