Legal Question in Workers Comp in Texas

can i except another job?

i am currently out on workers comp but i have had another job offer. can i except it. i know i will loose all benefits but will i be pentalized in any way or have to pay anything back?

You will not have to pay anything back..and work comp medical benefits will continue...but I presume your new job will want a doctor's release which may reduce an impairment rating..but work comp is designed to pay employees promptly and give medical treatment so the employee can go back to work...so in your case, it apparently succeeded...
