Legal Question in Workers Comp in Texas
knee injury
i hurt my knee while working offshore. there is a long piece of soft tissue over my patella and i am going to have an mri done tomorrow. the doctor at the occupational clinic will analyze the mri. i believe an orthopedist should be consulted. do i have the right to demand this?

You should be able to get the medical opinions necessary for you to get all of the medical treatment that is reasonable and necessary for the injury that you have. There may be some Jones Act implications here. You need to consult with an attorney soon. www.rogersbookerlewis.com
