Legal Question in Workers Comp in Texas

is it legal

i was injured on the job and i was gone for 5 months after 90 days they had to let me go so they could fill my positon but now im fine and released from the dr. i even re applyed and they told me i was terminated,while i was injured so i cant get my job back till after 1 year can they do that
